Projekt Neubau eines Pferde-Erlebnisparks mit Show Palast

Nach einem gewonnenen Wettbewerbsentwurf für die Themenwelt im Jahr 2013, realisierte GRAFT nach einem Jahr Bauzeit den ersten Baustein der neuen Freizeitattraktion, den Showpalast Münchenappao.
Das Großprojekt ist im Münchner Stadtteil Fröttmaning in direkter Nachbarschaft zur Allianz Arena angesiedelt und soll in Zukunft mit zwölf weiteren Pavillons ein interaktives Abenteuer rund um das Thema Pferd für die Besucher bereithalten.
Der Showpalast bietet Platz für 1.700 Besucher, die die Familienunterhaltungsshow auf einer 40 Meter breiten Bühne verfolgen können. Hierdurch müssen nur wenige Sitzreihen hintereinander angeordnet werden – dies ermöglicht allen Gästen eine gute Sicht und geringen Abstand zum Geschehen auf der Bühne.
Showpalast und das Bühnendesign wurden explizit so entwickelt, dass Pferde aus allen Richtungen auf die Showfläche einreiten können. Gepaart mit Hightech-Projektionstechniken verschmelzen hier Realität und virtuelle Showeffekte zu einem flexiblen Totaltheater.
Die Front des Showpalasts ist mit einer Holzfassade bekleidet, die mittels einer dahinterliegenden Lichtinstallation allabendlich zum Leben erweckt wird. Die lamellenartige Fassade nimmt die Dynamik galoppierender Pferden auf und schafft so einen weiteren illusorischen Showeffekt für die Besucher.
Der Showpalast mit seiner bildstarken Theaterwelt steht im Zentrum des Erlebnisparks und geht mit diesem eine gestalterische Symbiose ein - eine spannende Verbindung von Natur und Kunst-Welt.
Die unterschiedlichen Funktionen und Stimmungen der verschiedenen Pavillons werden unter anderem durch den Einsatz des Materials Holz und einer formalen DNA in einem harmonischen Gesamtensemble gebündelt und kreiieren so die neue räumliche Identität der Marke. Holz als natürliches und vertrautes Material unterstützt die Lesbarkeit der avantgardistischen Formensprache und macht sie nahbar.
GRAFT entwarf eine einzigartige Themenwelt, die zum Gesicht und Markenzeichen der außergewöhnlichen Pferdeshow wird. Die weiteren Arbeiten am Themenpark werden 2018 fortgesetzt. Zusätzlich zum Showpalast runden die Pavillons aus Pferde-Pflegecenter, Museum, Hufschmied, Krankenstation, Science Center, Reit- und Longierhalle, 360° Kino, Fohlenhaus sowie unterschiedliche Stallungen das Pferdewelt-Erlebnis ab.

Project Construction of a show palace for a multimedia horse show

After winning the first prize in the competition for the APASSIONATA Park in 2013 and about twelve months of construction, GRAFT implemented the first building, the APASSIONATA show palace in 2017.
Located in the district of Fröttmaning, right next to the Allianz Arena in Munich, the project will create an interactive adventure for the visitors on the theme of horses with twelve additional pavilions.
The show palace offers space for 1,700 viewers, who can watch the unique horse show on a 40 meter long stage. All visitors are guaranteed a good view and a short distance to the stage since this layout allows only a few rows of seats.
Show palace and stage design have been developed to allow the access of the horses from all directions to the show space. Along with high tech projection technologies, reality and virtual show effects merge to a flexible total theatre.
The front of the show palace is constructed with a wooden façade, which is brought to life by an underlying light installation every evening.
The overall shape of the façade abstracts the dynamic of free running horses and creates one more illusory show effect for the visitors.
The show palace with its visually powerful theatre world is the centrepiece of the park and creates a symbiotic relationship between the architecture and the surrounding landscape, between nature and art world.
The different functions and moods of the various pavilions are concentrated through the use of wood as well as a formal DNA in a harmonious complete ensemble and create therefor a new spatial identity of the brand. Wood as a natural and familiar material supports the readability of the avant-garde design vocabulary.
GRAFT created an exceptional themed world that will become the face and label of the outstanding horse show. Further work at the theme park is going to be continued in 2018. In addition to the show palace the pavilions with a horse care-centre, a horse museum, a farrier, an infirmary, a Science Centre, a riding and lunging hall, a 360° cinema, a foal station and different stables complete the horse world experience.
