The building has a very clear, uniform and geometrical shape, which is articulated by two 88m high slim tower slices. These are linked by a transparent gap. The asymmetrical allocation of the service core ensures a maximum of daylight harvest, as well as a high degree of flexibility for various internal fit-out scenarios. Characteristic areas for communication, meeting and casual breakouts form the environment inside this gap. The high rise shall house an observatory deck, as well as contemporary office and conference spaces for approximately 600 staff.

The proposal convinced by an attractive, flexible inner organization and a future orientated architectural language. This system allows for a high level of flexibility with regard to changes in the office landscapes in future. Diagonally bent glazing panes, as two storey high elements, further enhance the crystalline character of the already sharp-edged building form. Particularly the very sophisticated façade reflects the innovative spirit of BASF.
