Lindauer Straße

Jutting starkly outward into the Wedding street, the Lindauer Straße residential building is an inner-city improvement of 1950s Neubau forms. The structure restates its neighbors' ideas, and yet also contrasts them with its curvilinear shape. Its street-side facade, housing bronze-framed windows and curvilinear balconies, chandeliers in multiple directions. Moving out from its neighbors' sharp edges, the balconies signify the design's roots. The windows then pan horizontally, mimicking the movement of the busy traffic below.
